WE ARE CALLED TO BE THE CHURCH.
WE ARE NOT CALLED JUST TO GO TO CHURCH
We are called to go out into the world and BE THE CHURCH by sharing the LOVE of JESUS with others in our community. Our family members, friends, co-workers, classmates, neighbors, and even people we don't know. Jesus commanded His disciples to go out into the world and preach the gospel to all creation. This is called the GREAT COMMISSION.
OUR CITY NEEDS YOU
We are living in a lost and dying world that is getting darker every day. We are called to be the LIGHT in the world, and point people to JESUS. He is the only one who can help people how they need to be helped. But how will people know that He exists and is still ALIVE today if we don't share with them? The only way people will come to know JESUS is if we share the GOSPEL with them.
INVITE THEM TO CHURCH
One of the easiest things you can do for someone is invite them to church. When people ask about the JOY in your life, You can tell them about JESUS! You can hand them a card and invite them to join you at a service. Since church can be an intimidating experience, people are more likely to go to church when they know someone. Meet them at the door and tell them you are happy they made it, pray for Holy Spirit to do a work on them during service and let God do the rest.
